A Day in the Life of a Pre-K 3-er

A typical day in the PreK-3 Class looks like this:

7:45AM – 8:00 AM Arrival. Each child will unpack his/her backpack and hang up his/her jacket. 

8:00AM – Morning Meeting: Job assignment for the day.

8:15AM –Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance, Calendar and Weather, Alphabet and Counting & Singing

8:20AM – Academics

8:50AM – Bathroom Break

9:00AM – Snack (pack your favorite snack and drink from home) 

9:15AM – Arts and Crafts and Playtime

10:00AM – Clean Up Time

10:15AM – Special  Activity Time: puzzles, games, music, dance,  gym, playground or story time

10:45AM –Pack up time for the half-day students! Weather permitting, we try to get a few minutes of fresh air on the playground outside prior to dismissal.

11:00AM- Dismissal for the half-day program.  Prepare for lunch for the full-day students.

11:40:00 PM- Wind down from lunch; Bathroom break

12:00PM- Rest period begins

1:35PM - Rest period ends.  Bathroom break.

2:00PM - Daily review

2:25PM - Dismissal
